For 2024, the new Ram 1500 offers truck buyers from Thayer and Willow Springs a total of eight trims to choose from:

Engines and performance options

The Ram 1500 offers a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 305 horsepower and a 5.7-liter V8 with 395 horsepower. Both engines are ably assisted by a 48-volt hybrid system although the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 is also available in a more pure form without the electric sidekick. If you're into adventure, the Rebel trim gives you more a muscular appearance and serious off-road capability. The hybrid V6 engine gives you an estimated 25 MPG on the highway and the hybrid V8 gets 23 MPG on the highway.

Every Ram 1500 gives you a nice ride with the help of a rear suspension system equipped with standard coil springs or available air springs that are better than the traditional leaf spring arrangement found with domestic competitors. Ram 1500 trucks equipped with air suspension even give you an adjustable ride height which improves fuel efficiency and off-road performance. 

Towing and payload capacity

The new 2024 Ram 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds and pack a payload of as much as 2,320 pounds. For truck drivers in Mountain Grove and Springfield, the passenger-friendly Ram 1500 crew cab can tow a maximum of 11,500 pounds.

Interior comfort and cargo

The cabin of the new Ram 1500 is where this truck demonstrates its advantages over other full-size pickups. At higher trim levels, the Ram 1500 feels more like a luxury car than a pickup. Most trims are available with premium features like heated and ventilated seats as well as a panoramic sunroof. The nicest versions offer genuine wood accents and premium leather surfaces our Mountain Home customers will appreciate. The Ram 1500 offers an abundance of space inside along with an innovative split-folding tailgate in the back.

Technology

The 2024 Ram 1500 comes with a standard 5-inch touch screen, Bluetooth and a six-speaker stereo. Available features include either an 8.4-inch or 12-inch touch screen, smartphone connectivity, satellite radio and a premium Harman Kardon stereo with up to 19 speakers. You can also add two rear USB ports, navigation, wireless device charging and an automatically-dimming rearview mirror. Other available tech features include remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, two household-style power outlets and a dual-pane sunroof.

Safety features

The latest edition of the Ram 1500 comes with a standard rear-view camera. Available safety features include blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera system and a rear camera mirror that streams a view of what's behind your Ram 1500 to the rearview mirror.
